The Montana Freestyle Jam is a collaborative display of alternative arts focused on human movement. Breakdancing, Fire Arts, Juggling, Freestyle Footbag, and Slacklining will all be present. Demonstrations of these arts and music will be presented throughout the day while vendors provide food and drink to the crowd. Participation is encouraged and lessons will be available to those interested.

The Montana Freestyle Jam is hosted by the Missoula Footbag Alliance (http://missoulafootbag.com) which is an ASUM Student Group.The Montana Freestyle Jam was started by Evan Lovely of the Missoula Footbag Alliance in April 2003 as a way to extend the idea of the Footbag Alliance out to the rest of the community and the other "different" activities enjoyed. A place to gather people of similar interests and a way to share these activities. Over the years more individuals have some together to help the Jam grow: Ben Little, Hugh Healow, Seth Martin, Jeremiah Bechard-Somberg, Kevin Crowley, Ty Grogan and the rest of the Missoula Footbag Alliance became huge staples in the organization and execution of the Jam. Without them, it would of never grown in the way it has.
